F.A.M.I.L.Y

So I don't have a big family here in Houston, but its okay because this is all we need:) In total its it's 10 of us, but my brother lives separate with his wife (Vanessa) and two kids (Iker & Erik). Then there's the ones I live with. My birth mom Angie that has ALWAYS been the hardest working mom I've known and love to death. Then there's my other mom (my grandma) Guadalupe that raised us while my mom was at work and of course I love her just as much as a mom. I never had my father around which is more than okay, but I do have my tio Lorenzo that took that spot and became a great father for always helping me whenever I needed it. Lupita is the middle child (my sister) which I've learned a lot from and very thankful for, if it hadn't been for all the advice she's given me I would of been clueless about pretty much a lot of important stuff girls need to know as they get older. My niece Abigail is 10 at the moment and pretty much a mini me but with her moms attitude...haha! She is growing up so fast it kinda makes me sad because I have had her by my side since she was a newborn (I miss seeing her as a baby). Now let's go back to the rest of the family I started to talk about. Benito is my big brother that has always been very over protective of us two girls. Most the time he tells us stuff we don't want to hear but only because he is looking out for us and wants us to make better choices. Nana!! She is my sister in law (the best one there could ever be) that has came from across the world to be with my brother and I'm happy she is part of the family!!! I will never forget the first time I met her and I'm glad that I can still remember to this day! They had 2 handsome boys that I mentioned before. I'm really bad with remembering their age but I believe the oldest is 8 and the little on will be turning 6 next month!!! Iker is my brother's mini him...I love how his so little but has a great sense of humor :) By little I mean age not height, I am sure he will be super tall like his parents. I will always remember Erik as the sweet young boy (not that Iker is not because he is also sweet) that always surprises you with words:) There was one more member to the family...

This is the only picture of the whole family that we have taken! (2005)

Gordis also known as "Leo" was the best dog besides Rex that I have ever loved, cared for, and been the closest to. We shared many great memories from when he was a baby till the last time i got to play with him. I don't wanna talk about it because when I do, I can't stop to crying like I'm starting to now. He got to live many wonderful yrs with us. Whenever I needed someone to talk to Id go outside and sit with him (believe me he would hear me out as if he was a human being) and share my thoughts/feelings with him. When he was just a puppy we had a great time at parks, and of course he loved my trampoline most of all. As he got older he was still very playful and friendly with all of us (except strangers) Me and my mom Lupe would always make sure he was well taken care of. If he ever needed anything I didn't care how much I would spend on him as long as he was happy. He was my baby and till this day i wish he was still here with us. If you know me really well you would know how much i loved this dog. To me he was never just a pet, he was family. During hurricane Rita we evacuated and he had to stay behind. It broke my heart, but as soon as we heard from ppl that the freeways were being opened, me and my mom left my family behind and i was back home with him:) The next hurricane that hit Houston terribly bad was Ike. My family had plans to evacuate again, well this time i was older and made it clear I wasn't going leave him here. They ended up staying because of my stubborn self and suffered the consequences. I did't care I wasn't going to leave my baby behind and something bad could of actually happened this time. Thank god nothing bad happened to him, but our backyard did get destroyed. I'll try uploading more pics of him as he got older, I just don't have my scanner set up but once I do they'll be posted.
