This quote says it all. My family has been my only biggest support. My husband (yes husband even though isn't by court) has been the biggest help of all. No words can describe how great full I am to have this man in my life. He understands me completely and has never once left my side. My Gma calls me everyday to make sure both me and my mom are ok. My uncle as well calls me 3xs a day to make sure my mom has been eating more than usual and to check up on her health. He's always just a phone call away even when I don't ask for anything he wants to make sure we have all we need. Whatever cravings my mom may have him or Jesus won't hesitate to get it for her. My brother and his wife as well have been very understanding lately, and kind enough to come Friday evenings to care for my mom for a few hours while I go and have dinner with Jesus. It's good to have those few hours just with him. We hardly have alone time anymore so whatever we can get we take. Family is everything to me so if I have any opportunity to visit my in laws I take it as well. They are also huge supporters and I couldn't be more thankful to have them in my life. They've done so much for both me and my mom that we have all grown as one big family. Last but not least a huge thanks to a great lady that has never left our site. She shows up without having to be called and always knows how to cheer my mom up. She sees her as her own mom and that is something not any friend or person can do. She's always telling me to go out and she doesn't mind caring for my mom. She even massages her since mom spends 90% of her time laying down. Beyond grateful for her. Love her so much that she is more than a friend. She's become family. There's always going to be those people that can't or won't understand why I put so much effort into my family. They are all I have. Friends at this moment aren't a priority. Friends are people who are understanding and don't push you aside as their life goes on as well. When hard times cross your path you come to realize your family is the only support you need.
