Sitting here at the infusion center waiting for moms chemo to be done. Bout 3 more hours to go. Feeling tired and dizzy. Beyond sleepy that I can hardly keep my eyes opened. I sleep about 4-5 hrs a day. I have no idea how I can function perfectly throughout the whole week. Not complaining though, I love being my moms caregiver.
We just met this lady with my moms C stage 2. She saw how tired my mom looked, she recommended this drink that will lift her up. She said she got it in Mc Allen I believe, but she thinks its also sold here. Either way ill be taking a trip down there soon now that chemo is done with. She was a very sweet lady and hopefully we stay in touch.
Not looking forward to about an hour drive back home. The joy of these things. I'm going to miss all these people here. Especially the nurses. The only names that stuck to me was Joy, Chris, and Rosie. There was one more nurse who's name I can't remember, but she helped us out with a bunch of goodies for my mom. Last day to see them will be Wednesday for her blood infusion. That will be the day we say goodbye to floor 5c.
