One day at a time.

I have the best uncle/father in the world. I mentioned to him yesterday how I had been craving our old Sunday morning breakfast. Ever since I could remember he would always bring barbacoa for only Sundays. Well this morning he brought me some! Hadn't ate this good in so long! From such a shitty day yesterday, it felt nice to feel noticed for a few minutes. He always wants to make sure I'm also being taken care of. Of course Jesus also caters to my needs as he sees how extremely hard this has hit me, but he works non stop I rather just not bother him as much. He's doing enough since I currently have no income besides my weekend job that is helping out so much. Thankful for having these men in my life. I don't know what I'd do without them. My Gmama has been so helpful also. She knows how much I LOVE her tortillas de arina. Well her health hasn't been really that great either, (but to cheer me and my mom up) she made us her famous tortillas!! If you have a grandma who's cooking is like no other, you get me. Today may not be a great day, but we are very thankful to be alive another day.

Also beyond thankful for the Catholic Church's that have been reaching out to us from all over the US. candles are being lit for mom from all around. Gives my mom that much more reason to keep fighting strong and not give up. She is beyond thankful and appreciates stuff like this. If you knew my mom, you'd know she is the sweetest most kindest person you've ever met. Everyone at the cancer center just adores her, cries with her, and smiles with her. She's loved more than she'll ever know.
